1. Grapevine - a Network of Saviours
The grapevine is a proposed application connecting a network of people who can be saviours for women who experience violence, including doctors, pharmacists, nurses, advocates, judges, psychologists, teachers, social workers, neighbours, even family members or Government entities responsible for protecting women from further violence.
The application will allow any member of the network—who suspects that a woman they have encountered has experienced violence—to report to the relevant Government entity, either anonymously or including their contact details.
The more people report anonymously or violence incidents, the more women are protected from further violence. Protecting women from violence will become the basis of a policy making process for women’s protection. The aim of the application is to reduce violent incidents and protect women’s lives.
